Impressive insights into Glove history and innovation
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Canadian Glove Museum in Point Leamington, NL. As a Superior Glove employee, I was quite anxious to check out the glove museum! I was not disappointed! The displays of famous gloves in history was excellent and I really liked the showcase of Gloves that Superior Glove has to offer and provides some insight into the innovation and technology that goes into making gloves today! A surprise tour
Thanks to our Floyd our host at By the Bay B&B, Point Leamington, we were able to take a tour of The Canadian Glove Museum - Superiorglove. Our guide Phoebe was excellent and talked about items in the museum and then gave us a tour of the facility. They are planning tours in July. Staff were friendly in this privately owned company. Canadian Glove Museum - Check It Out
We dropped into the Canadian Glove Museum after seeing the information on Facebook. A group of ladies were visiting us from Ontario, Yukon and North Carolina and we were checking out the local sites. I had no idea of the history and technology we had so close to home. We started in the museum with an enlightening walk through with Tammy. We learned so much from the exhibits and it was very cool to see the gloves and hear the history. Tammy invited us in for a tour of the manufacturing plant. As a firefighter I understand the importance of the quality and protection provided in the garments and equipment for many professions. I will never comment again on the cost for that quality. We were honestly blown away from seeing the process of working with the raw materials to the end products. The innovation and technology was impressive. it was an amazing and exciting place to visit.
my church group decided we would like to see the glove factory as it is a place where many of our friends and family work. can I say we were amazed and surprised at this place. it was not at all what we expected. The museum was very interesting and the tour of the building was very informative and we learned so much. Amazing tour at the Canadian Glove Museum!

Great experience

Awesome
As a employee at superior glove works limited, I had the opportunity to participate in a tour of our in house museum. The staff was really informative about the different types of gloves located within. When you visit you can also get a tour of our plant.
